Whether you’re getting into the March Madness spirit or just trying to stay active, we’ve put together a vocabulary list of sports words to get you started. Hopefully you’ll have a chance to practice them by joining a local team or finding a community fitness group (fast walking groups are my personal preference).

Note: the word ماشي, meaning “walking”, is also used in some colloquial phrases to mean “things are going,” or “things are fine”.
