Corona Virus by Mohamed Ramadan

We’re wrapping up the school year here in the US with a fun and danceable song by Mohamed Ramadan. Mohamed Ramadan is an Egyptian actor and singer. A lot of his songs are upbeat and a little ridiculous. This song, Corona Virus, is no exception. One of our readers requested the song and we were intrigued. It’s rare to find a popular song that includes words on our Arabic medical vocabulary list and tips about preventing the spread of disease. With the recent uptick (again…) in coronavirus cases and some appearances of Monkeypox around the world, it also seemed unfortunately fitting. So, as we hope for an end to this pandemic and pray we don’t find ourselves in another, here is a song you can dance to with friends at the club or when quarantining alone in your bedroom.
